How to buy ZKP on Uniswap on Polygon

Step by Step guide to buy $ZKP on Uniswap on Polygon (also known as MATIC)

To buy any coin on Uniswap, first you need two things: an EVM Compatable wallet and some Polygon in it.

1. Install MetaMask

1. Go to MetaMask and download and install (in Chrome or FireFox).

2. You’ll see the MetaMask fox icon next to your address bar. Click the icon and MetaMask will open up.
   (Fox icon may be hidden, click the jigsaw puzzle icon to show all extensions and pin Metamask)
   

3. Create a New password. Then, write down the Secret Backup Phrase in a safe place. MetaMask will create a new Ethereum address for you.

2. Connect your metamask wallet to Polygon:

The easiest way to do this is to connect to the chainlist site:

Once opened, polygon suggests you chose this RPC:

Once you click ‘connect wallet’ Metamask will ask you to approve:

Next METAMASK will ask you to switch to polygon network, click ‘Switch network’:

3. Send $MATIC to your Metamask wallet

1. Copy your Metamask wallet address. You can find it at the top middle of Metamask window, when you move your mouse over it you will see “Copy to clipboard” and you just click mouse left and it’s copied.

Tip: Everytime you copy and paste an EVM Compatable address, remember and check that the first 2 digits and last 2 digits are correct!

2. Buy some Polygon in your favorite exchange (Coinbase, Binance, Kucoin, etc) and send the $MATIC to this address.

3. In your exchange, find the Withdraw option. Select Polygon. They ask where do you want to send, paste there the Metamask address.

3. Buy On Uniswap

Now you have some MATIC in your Metamask wallet and are ready to buy!

1. Go to Uniswap, choose ‘Polygon’:
   

2. Click ‘Connect’ to connect your wallet:
   

3. Select Metamask:
   

4. Next we want to choose ZKP to swap to, click on select token and look for $ZKP on the list:
   

If it does not appear - no problem, we can copy it from the panther website:

Copy the $ZKP token contract from the bottom of the page:

And paste it into the select token search box:

5. Enter the amount - example 1 Matic = 45 $ZKP
   

Check the price and if you are happy to proceed, then click ‘swap’.
Metamask will prompt to confirm the transaction click yes approve.
